The opinions expressed by our President Shavkat Mirziyoyev about the media during his visit to Kashkadarya region on February 24 are widely recognized by the general public.
Our generation is people who have seen two centuries. At this period, two species of our people witnessed the phenomenon of state and public administration. If we give the word to the conclusions of the past tense, it becomes clear that human psychology is always prone to fear. And we saw, unfortunately, how sad society would decline when this spirit of fear was committed "by reason."
Today, as we struggle to correct any shortcoming on the way to building a new nation-like state, we are going to realize more and more deeply that they are all a product of society wrapped in that spirit of fear. We also understood that we lost something due to the lack of communication between the people and the authorities.
And what we found and achieved in the following years was the result of dialogue with the people. True, it is never easy to adapt to a new era. Especially if this process is surrounded by sociocultural phenomena associated with a radical change in the consciousness and thinking of people, their way of life, as well as taking place in an extremely threatening period of the XXI century...
Change Formula
In earlier times, political eclipses prevailed, which were an obstacle to progress. One of them is the state's conduct of a closed Policy. This is done primarily in an atmosphere of dialogue between the people and the authorities, as a result of the vicious curbing of freedom of speech and thought.
Then strong dogmatic views are formed around. In such a society, a panic of fear always reigns. Officials think about their peace, pleasure, father-in-law teaches their children to be careful, not to talk absolutely about reforms. And the main activity of jurisprudence systems remains only to punish.
As a result, distrust of life in the minds of people and in society increases. This, in turn, creates a mood of depression that becomes a great pore for progress.
Today, our answer to the question of how we are able to change this environment in the conditions of New Uzbekistan is clear. We, first of all, had to lose the feeling of fear that froze in the minds of people.
For this purpose, we chose the path of great change. This was ensured by freedom of speech and listening to popular opinion.
From the first days of political talent, our president took the path of giving freedom to the media and applying them. He saw journalists as friends, not enemies of the state and society, new reforms epkin.
We still remember the first stage of reforms in this regard well now.
In a festive greeting to the press and media staff of 2017, the head of state said: "living with the people, the people's dreams, the concerns of the four are rising to the level of public policy, today we can achieve the goals that we set ourselves only if every media has become a real platform of communication, a platform of Free Thought... I know very well that you, the people of the venerable press, will always live with dedication to make our lives more free, prosperous and prosperous, and I consider you to be my closest partners and assistants along the way. In order for your hard and responsible work to find its rightful assessment, to be more effective, we will definitely mobilize all the forces and capabilities of our state and society," he laid the foundation for a new system that was only a dream for representatives of the national media sphere of that time.
Years have passed. The activities of the media were enriched with a new content. Critical journalism appeared. Social networks became more active, journalists and bloggers began to openly and impartially state the pain of the People, Problems in life.
A number of regulatory legal acts were adopted in order to apply the media in sync with this, to saturate them with the spirit of a new era.
Ultimately, we laid the foundation for a change Formula — Free Thought + analysis + acceptance = application in practice and result, which the new reforms aimed at from the very beginning.
Thus, a new comparative science of our society was formed. In it, the phenomenon of a free and free person was manifested. This is explained, first of all, by the birth of Fearless Ideas in the minds of citizens. Any idea can be the basis of progress, especially if it appears in a society of freedom.
In this way, ideas emerge the perfect powerfull to implement a specific change in the product of awake thinking.
Breath of freedom
"Many offer me to "close" the media, but I will never do it," the president said during a visit to Kashkadarya last week.
This very Conclusion alone gives us a huge spirit of strength and soulfulness.
At the same time, we emphasize the irreversibility of today's reforms and talk about the product of the construction of a free society and the awakening of Free Thought.
In general, how is reform productivity ensured in society and people's lives? It occurs, first, with the power of consistency and persistence, and then with the spirit of mutual understanding.
We said that the source of perfect power is a product of awake thinking. Now it is the turn of the media about the effect of freedom in this process.
This is noticeable, firstly, by the example of the irreversibility of reforms that are improving our lives, and secondly, the culture of arguing on the stage of free media is brought up, and thirdly, people freely express their opinion. These three phenomena indicate the free development of our new Jamia puts.
Now these are two mouths about the impact of our industry on the lives of ordinary people, on our prosperous life.
In his dialogue in Kashkadarya, the president said that he would read social networks, internet publications, the press every day. "As long as I have time, I take a pen in my hand and write it to myself. 9 out of 10 opinions will turn out to be correct anyway," he said.
Here after this opinion, it becomes clear that our National Press has come to life, problems are being openly stated, and the relationship expressed on life issues on social networks is why it does not pay off much.
It can be said that as a result of how many problems were interpreted through social networks, the press, the president came to his attention. Another important aspect, the National segments of the media serve as a pulpit for the common people.
Let's give one example: you may have heard of Sergelilik Aziza Samoghova. She has lived with her mother, sister justice, for 12 years without rent. Even out of desperation, an old sewing T-shirt on the edge of his grandmother's small throat made space. Mother-child Zah every night in the place of snakes and scorpions, frightened by rats, dawned in his sleep without rest. Note that 12 years no one wanted to hear their pain. Finally in 2021, unexpectedly, a video about Aziza's dreams and thoughts comes to the attention of the head of our state.
It all started with this — the president presented them with a 3-room house from a modern massif in the new Choshtepa neighborhood of the Yangihayot district.
Of course, many such examples can be said. It is important that, thanks to the special attention and strict political will of the head of our state, today a breath of freedom is raging in our society. Therefore, people today know who to tell, how to convey their problems.
Around us, in our country, awake-minded people live. This is an extremely important element for progress.
Level of understanding of Essence
"Freedom of speech plays an important role in the reform of society as a principle of justice" by one of the great scholars of the Islamic world, Ramadan Buti, or "information is the main currency of democracy." Without freedom of speech, there will be neither democracy nor human freedom," evokes an idea as if it were told about the beginning of the great political eunuchs in the new Uzbekistan in the person.
This imagination has several foundations.
The first basis: as we set out to build a new Uzbekistan, we had the only right path ahead of us, and we were able to turn it into an irresistible political will for ourselves. That is, we entered the reform of society on the basis of the principles of open civil society, vital criteria for communicating with the people, freedom of speech.
The second basis: we looked at transparency and freedom of speech as the demand of the era, the demand for new reforms that have begun in our country. At the same time, most importantly, we laid the foundation for the mechanism of showing errors in the activities of impartial and fair journalists and leaders working in the old fashioned way with critical speeches of bloggers.
The third basis: with the help of socially responsible media, we created a people's pulpit. We thus ensure that the media literally become the "fourth power".
Therefore, it will be necessary to essentially understand the new thoughts of our president about the media last week, as well as to consider our activities from a critical point of view, having drawn conclusions from them.
The head of state said that" we have not heard the people's voice because we have been a closed State for many years and have not supported the media." He said again,"let the media speak justice and criticize correctly."
As today's media are seen as the voice of the people, we need to feel that there are extremely responsible tasks ahead of us. What is it permissible to reflect on?
First of all, let's not forget that it is our professional duty to ensure that every critical opinion is justified, comprehensively thoughtful, whether in a newspaper, radio communication, social networks or Internet publications.
Criticism is only supported by the spirit of life when it is analytical. Only then will we achieve a result of 100 percent, and not the fact that 9 out of 10 opinions will turn out to be correct.
While we are talking about critical reflections, the power of the word and the press, we preferred to cite the following opinions written by Abdullah Qadiri to the authors of the magazine "Mushtum:
"What I need to know well is that pen Arrow and press are not hoe market. It is not a virtue to invent sentences from every word that comes to mind. Let the word remain and the thought be a brick embedded in it, and when it matures from the stump of the burial, lay the foundation for a new porch of life!".
Indeed, as long as we are building the new porch of life that our Almighty grandfather dreamed of, it is necessary that we preserve and use the power of thought in its place extremely. This is in tune with our President's view that "let the media speak justice and criticize it correctly."
To do this, we will have to reach the level of awareness of the original essence.
The essence is that we, journalists and bloggers, first of all, need to correctly understand the philosophy of justice, the shock of just truth.
We have a lot of lessons to learn from life in this regard. The glorification of human dignity in the new Uzbek society was chosen as a triumph of the philosophy of justice and just truth. It is also a confirmation of our opinion that the provision of human rights is a priority, the constitutional rights of citizens are restored in practice, the opinion of ordinary people is taken into account in the adoption of laws and other normative legal acts.
Example: the draft law"on amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan" kons titusiyavi was put up for discussion in the general public chilik.
During the discussion, it is said that more than 220,000 proposals were received from our people aimed at improving the law lo.
This figure alone proves that open civil society in the country has been created with the ability to say Free words on the ground, in people and in the media.
By the way, when it comes to our chief law, which is being updated, it is worth saying that the inadmissibility of censorship in 67mod of our current Constitution was reinforced. Now as an addition to this substance
It is also proposed to add the norm" obstruction or interference in the activities of the media will cause liability in accordance with the law."
What is it for? The fact is that in the field of national media there are problems that are waiting for their solution. It is also no secret that some media representatives still face various obstacles in their professional activities. Therefore, ensuring the openness of state bodies and transferring responsibility in accordance with the law in relation to obstruction or interference in the activities of journalists is strictly defined in the Constitution.
The principle of "noble thought, noble word and noble deed" is moving to folk thought
Today, the number of media in our country has increased by almost 30 percent compared to 2016 and reached 1962. The number of Internet publications has doubled in the last 6 years and is 677. This is also a vivid example of a life-giving policy aimed at ensuring the information sphere and freedom of speech in the Society of New Uzbekistan.
It's no secret that in subsequent years, different views around print publications, that is, newspapers and magazines, depending on one, different opinions are circulating.
We do not intend to return this topic now. Let's just quote the speech of our president at the solemn ceremony dedicated to the day of teachers and mentors on September 30, 2020:
"Unfortunately, we also eliminated the optional subscription under the pretext of "mandatory subscription" in subsequent years. As a result of this, the teachers and teachers of schools and universities were separated from the newspapers and magazines necessary for them. It has become so sad that even some leaders have boasted of not reading newspapers."
It was then that the head of our state made another life conclusion: "you yourself know that one of the most developed countries in the world of computer technology is Japan. But what about the fact that in this country there are newspapers that publish 3-4 million copies per day? I want to say that in our life, along with radio-television, the Internet, printed publications have their place."
It is understood from these thoughts that today it has become a requirement of the Times that we all get a head out of one collar and make only and exclusively serious considerations, follow the path of correct and impartial criticism of shortcomings, in a word, unite along the path of our national development.
So that the principle of "noble thought, noble word and noble deed", moving into the thinking of our people, always persist and become meaningful.
Another sentence. We said above about the triumph of truth and Justice.
In conclusion, we would like to note again that by the triumph of truth and justice we must also understand the prestige and prestige of our state at the international level. Therefore, it is our duty to each of us to have the virtue of being able to shield even the information attack of certain sources who look behind their paws and envy at today's changes and achievements in our country.
May the face of all of us on this path be bright, our conscience clean and our deeds correct!
