I am immensely pleased to express my sincere congratulations and best wishes to you on the occasion of a significant date in the history of our relations – the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

Good-neighborliness and close cooperation between our countries serve as an important basis for the common well-being and prosperity of our peoples, who have been living side by side in peace and harmony for centuries, having common roots and kinship ties, as well as for peace and stability in our region.

I would like to emphasize that Your Excellency has made a huge contribution to the comprehensive expansion of cooperation between our friendly countries, the achievement of an unprecedented level of strategic partnership based on mutual respect and trust.

The traditionally open and trusting contacts established between us, the creation of effective mechanisms to streamline our interstate relations, serve as a solid basis for further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation in all priority areas.

Dear Gurbanguly Myalikgulyevich!

Thanks to your far-sighted, balanced domestic and foreign policy, today Turkmenistan is achieving great successes and milestones in all spheres, the welfare of the population is constantly growing, the country's authority in the international arena is increasing.

Your personal participation in the summit of the Organization of Turkic States, held in Samarkand on November 11 last year, as well as the award of the "Highest Order of the Turkic World", along with making an invaluable contribution to raising the prestige of the conference, once again demonstrated to the world the high level of friendship between the fraternal Uzbek and Turkmen peoples.

As a result of your grandiose and historical efforts for the development of your country and people, long–term strategies and programs, implemented large-scale reforms, you have recently been approved by the Chairman of the Supreme Representative Body of People's Power - the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and you have been awarded the status of the National Leader of the Turkmen people.

I firmly believe that our long-term and comprehensive partnership, based on the principles of eternal brotherhood, friendship and mutual support, will undoubtedly continue consistently in the future.
