President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev observed brigade tactical exercises of the troops of the Ministry of Defense at the Termez training ground of the Southwestern Special Military District.
In recent years, the Armed Forces of our country have been radically reformed, the tactics and strategy of the use of the armed forces have been improved. The modern experience of organizing the interaction of units, conducting combat operations and operations with the wider use of unmanned aerial vehicles, aviation and artillery capabilities has been put into practice.
In particular, this process is practiced during tactical exercises at the level of companies, platoons and brigades to perform tasks with minimal losses, the use of the most modern weapons and military equipment, aviation support for combined arms units, conducting special operations in difficult mountainous and desert terrain, in urban conditions, evacuation of units and other activities.
The current exercises were conducted based on the nature of military operations observed in the world.
At the initiative of the President, over the past six years, all landfills, military units and institutions of the defense system have been rebuilt and repaired, as well as equipped with modern facilities in accordance with international requirements.
The Termez training ground has also created the most modern conditions for improving the combat knowledge, skills and psychological readiness of the Armed Forces personnel in the field, conducting tactical training and research in the field of military affairs.
The President stressed that today, when information threats are increasing in the world, further strengthening the potential of our Armed Forces, ensuring the unity of the people and the army, educating young people in the spirit of patriotism should become the core of reforms in the military sphere.
The President gave relevant instructions to the responsible persons on the constant improvement of the combat capability and readiness of the troops.
