The leaders of Uzbekistan and Russia discussed issues of further expansion of economic cooperation

On March 6, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

The sides exchanged views on topical aspects of the bilateral agenda.

The issues of maintaining the dynamics of trade turnover growth, promoting investment projects and expanding industrial cooperation in various sectors of the economy with the participation of leading companies and enterprises of the two countries were discussed.

Important attention is paid to the further development of interregional cooperation, the activation of cultural and humanitarian exchange.

The Heads of State also discussed issues of regional cooperation.
