The President of Uzbekistan held a number of meetings on the sidelines of the summit of the Non-Aligned Movement

At the end of the plenary session of the summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a number of meetings with heads of delegations and heads of international organizations.

In an interview with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, issues of promoting joint projects in the trade, economic, transport, communication and energy sectors were discussed.

The issues of attracting leading companies to the formation and implementation of a new portfolio of joint investment projects were discussed with the Emir of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, a member of the UAE Supreme Council, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi.

An exchange of views took place with the Chairman of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, Chaba Kereshi, on the agenda of the upcoming plenary session of the leading international organization in September this year.

The Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization Zurab Pololikashvili reported on the ongoing work on the preparation and holding of the regular session of the UNWTO General Assembly on October 16-20 this year in the city of Samarkand.

The issues of implementing a joint program for training personnel in the field of tourism were also considered.
