The new enterprise in Shafirkan has provided jobs for more than a thousand people

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the Bukhara Aztex sewing enterprise in the Shafirkan district.

Previously, there were no industrial facilities in this area. As a result of transformations in agriculture, a cluster system has also appeared here, industry has come. Now yarn, fabrics, ready-made clothes, cotton oil, soap, feed and dozens of other products are produced here from cotton alone.

Bukhara Aztex is one of such modern enterprises. A full cycle of cotton cultivation and deep processing has been established here. The degree of localization has reached 100 percent.

The cost of the project is $8.7 million. Equipment from Japan, Germany and Turkey has been installed. More than a thousand people are provided with work.

The company produces 16 million finished garments per year, 50 percent of this volume is planned to be supplied to the foreign market.

The head of our state assessed the quality of the products produced at the enterprise, talked with employees.

It is noteworthy that solar panels are installed on the roof of the enterprise. The President pointed out to the responsible persons the need to increase such modern enterprises and ensure employment of the population.
