In his Message to the people, the head of our state noted the need to teach foreign languages and professions to schoolchildren. On January 20, a meeting was held at which tasks in this direction were defined. It was decided that based on the characteristics of districts and mahallas, 64 types of working professions will be taught in schools.
On the ground, this model has begun to be implemented. In particular, after the renovation, appropriate conditions were created in the secondary school No. 55 of the Andijan district. The empty basements of the school were allocated to entrepreneurs who organized training workshops there and began to teach young people professions.
The President visited these workshops.
Here, high school students learn sewing, furniture, confectionery, shoemaking, basket weaving, sewing bedding. An auto repair shop, a welding shop, a printing house, computer services and hairdressing salons are also organized on the territory of the school.
The head of our state talked with young people who are acquiring a profession.
- If you pay attention to those who graduate from school without having a craft in their hands, the harder it is to establish a life, to find a job. To those who know both the craft and a foreign language, all roads are open. You have such an opportunity. Work hard, study hard, learn the profession. When do decisions and efforts bear fruit? When there are excellent specialists. Investors also focus on the knowledge and skills of personnel. The most important wealth of our country is youth," Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
