President of Albania to pay official visit to Uzbekistan

At the invitation of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Albania Bajram Begaj and his spouse will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on June 16-17.

In accordance with the visit program, high-level talks will be held in Tashkent, during which prospects for the further development of multifaceted Uzbek-Albanian cooperation will be discussed.

The discussions will focus on strengthening partnership in such priority areas as trade, industrial cooperation, agriculture, green energy, and tourism. The parties will also consider issues related to intensifying cultural and humanitarian exchanges.

An exchange of views will take place on issues on the international agenda, including mutual support within multilateral frameworks.

As part of the visit program, the President of Albania will also take part in the Fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum.
