The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Beijing celebrated International Women's Day

A round table was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Beijing in the format of a videoconference with the participation of our compatriots living in China, the correspondent of the news agency "Dunyo" reports.

The representatives of the Embassy sincerely congratulated the participants of the event on International Women's Day and drew attention to the fact that in recent years our country has paid special attention to protecting the rights and interests of women and girls, ensuring gender equality, protecting the family, motherhood and childhood, developing entrepreneurship among women, creating new jobs, understanding the essence of state policy to improve working and living conditions.

In particular, the compatriots were informed of the main content of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's congratulations to the women of Uzbekistan on this glorious and wonderful holiday, they were also informed about the comprehensive work carried out in our country to support women.

During the meeting, which took place in the form of an open dialogue, the participants had the opportunity to get answers to all their questions on consular and legal issues.
