President of Uzbekistan highlights priority areas for expanding cooperation with “BlackRock” company

In the framework of the business program of a working visit in New York City, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a member of the board of directors and senior managing director of BlackRock investment company Adebayo Ogunlesi. 

BlackRock – a major American investment company specializing in the management of assets and funds, as well as provision of financial services. The company’s assets exceed $11 trillion. 

Issues of further expanding strategic partnership with this leading American company have been reviewed, primarily in the sphere of energy, transport and water infrastructure development. 

Plans on creation of a joint fund have been supported.

A concept of a platform will be agreed upon soon and practical implementation of joint project will begin.
