Potential of Uzbekistan presented in China's Fujian Province

A business forum on the topic “Regions of Uzbekistan – Fujian Province: Investment, Trade and Tourism Cooperation” was held in the Chinese province of Fujian, organized by the Embassy of our country in Beijing and the Consulate General in Guangzhou.

The event was attended by about 100 heads of ministries and departments, trade and industrial associations, manufacturing and tourism companies, representatives of the business community of Fujian Province.

The presentation provided information on the economic potential of Uzbekistan, opportunities created for foreign investors, including in free economic and industrial zones, existing tax, customs and other benefits, new promising investment projects.

The participants also exchanged views on the advantages of doing business in Uzbekistan and received detailed information on all the issues they raised.

In his speech, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Commerce Xie Jinshi emphasized that in 2024, Uzbekistan became the most important economic partner of Fujian Province in Central Asia, and companies in the region are interested in developing investment and trade relations with our country.

During the event, videos about the trade, economic, investment and tourism potential of our country were shown.

Fujian Province is located in the southeast of China. The population exceeds 40 million people. Large manufacturing enterprises operate in the province. The main export items are electromechanical, agricultural and pharmaceutical products, and the main import items are coal, natural gas, agricultural products and iron ore.
