A presentation of the potential of the Samarkand region was held in the Chinese city of Tianjin

As part of the visit to China of the Uzbek delegation headed by the khokim of the Samarkand region Adiz Babayev, a major forum was held dedicated to the trade, economic, investment and tourism potential of the region.

The event was attended by representatives of more Chinese ministries and departments, trade and industrial associations, heads of large manufacturing and tourism companies, and business circles.

The participants were introduced to the potential of the Samarkand region, a presentation of the region's trade and economic opportunities, favorable conditions and advantages for foreign investors and tourists.

Chinese companies were encouraged to make extensive use of the opportunities created in the free economic and industrial zones of the Samarkand region and jointly implement new investment projects.

During the event, videos were shown, and representatives of the region answered questions from Chinese businessmen in detail. In the second part of the event, negotiations were held between business representatives of Uzbekistan and China in the B2B and G2B formats. Agreements were reached on the implementation of cooperation projects in various fields. A number of mutually beneficial documents were signed.

The delegation of the Samarkand region plans to hold economic events, presentations and meetings in a number of provinces and cities of China.
