A football match involving compatriots took place in Beijing

A friendly football match with the participation of compatriots dedicated to January 14 - Defenders of the Motherland Day was held in Beijing.

The event, organized by the Embassy of our country, began with the performance of the national anthem of Uzbekistan. Uzbek students studying in Chinese universities, as well as compatriots working in China, took part in it. Following the friendly competition, the winners were awarded prizes, and a festive table with national dishes of Uzbek cuisine was set for all participants.

A student of the North China University of Technology Doniyor Ziyodullaev:

- Today's match is dedicated to Defenders of the Motherland Day, and we were glad to take part in it and demonstrate our patriotism and love for our Motherland. Of course, such meetings unite Uzbeks who are far from their homeland.

Beijing University of Technology student Ulugbek Berdiyorov:

- I study mechanical engineering. There is a great demand for specialists in this field in Uzbekistan, and the auto industry is one of the driving forces of our economy. My peers and I are definitely ready to contribute to the future of our country.
