A round table dedicated to the upcoming parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan was held in Beijing



At the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, the Chinese Society for Research in the Field of Human Rights Protection organized a "round table" dedicated to the upcoming parliamentary elections in our country.

The event was attended by Jiang Jiangango, Executive Vice President of the Chinese Society for Human Rights Research, representatives of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, researchers and scientists.

In his speech, Mirzatilla Tillabayev, First Deputy Director of the National Center for Human Rights of Uzbekistan, familiarized the participants with the new legal aspects of the parliamentary elections, which will be held as part of large–scale reforms within the framework of the Strategy "Uzbekistan - 2030" adopted by the Head of our State.

In his speech, Executive Vice President of the society Jiang Jiangango noted that Uzbekistan is achieving high results through large-scale reforms and is on the path of its development.

"Uzbekistan is achieving achievements recognized by the international community in various fields," the Vice President said. – Undoubtedly, the parliamentary elections serve the development of the New Uzbekistan and the well-being of the people. We support the achievements of our friend Uzbekistan."

Zheng Danhong, Deputy Secretary General of the society, said that in the New Uzbekistan, on the basis of the updated Constitution adopted last year, the country's parliament received greater powers. In this sense, the upcoming parliamentary elections are of great historical importance.
