Uzbekistan is represented at the Silk Road International EXPO in Xi'an

The delegation of Uzbekistan is taking part in the 8th International Silk Road EXPO in the Chinese city of Xi'an, Shaanxi Province.

The event on the theme "Deepening interconnectedness and expanding trade and economic cooperation" is attended by representatives of ministries and departments, trade, economic and industrial companies, travel associations, and guests from more than 40 countries around the world.

During the speeches and presentations, the participants were familiarized with information about the ongoing large-scale reforms in Uzbekistan, the economic and investment opportunities of our country. The trade and economic attractiveness of the regions and their tourism potential were revealed, as well as favorable conditions and advantages created for foreign investors.

Chinese companies were called upon to make extensive use of the opportunities created in the free economic and industrial zones of Uzbekistan and jointly implement new investment projects.

It was noted that in recent years, multilateral cooperation between the business circles of the two countries has been expanding, and Chinese companies are very interested in working in the market of our country.

Within the framework of the EXPO, the pavilion of Uzbekistan was organized, where textile, construction, household, handicraft, ceramic and food products made in our country are widely represented.

The EXPO includes 10 major conferences and forums, as well as five exhibition areas dedicated to international exchanges, interregional cooperation, transport, logistics, advanced manufacturing and modern energy.
