German Federal Chancellor to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Olaf Scholz will pay an official visit to our country on September 15-16.

In accordance with the program of stay in the city of Samarkand, high-level talks will be held, during which issues of further development of Uzbek-German multifaceted cooperation will be considered.

Special attention will be paid to expanding trade, economic, technological, investment and financial partnerships, deepening cooperation with leading German companies and banks, continuing active cooperation in the field of labor migration, ecology, education, healthcare, culture, tourism and other areas. There will be an exchange of views on topical aspects of regional cooperation.

Within the framework of the program, the President of Uzbekistan and the Federal Chancellor of Germany will also hold a joint meeting with the business circles of the two countries.
