The progress of the airport construction has been inspected

On September 4, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the construction of the Tashkent-Vostochny airport.

Transport infrastructure is consistently developing in our country. New roads and bridges are being built, and travel comfort is improving. In particular, the airports of Samarkand, Termez, Muynak, Zaamin, Kokand, Urgench were updated and put into operation. In recent years, the Tashkent-Vostochny airport has been reconstructed.

A 4-kilometer-long runway was built on the territory of the complex. It is capable of receiving large liners. Two terminals, an apron and hangars for high-ranking guests and business aviation are currently under construction. The airport will be equipped with modern radio engineering and meteorological equipment of the ICAO III-A category, ensuring takeoff and landing even in adverse weather conditions.

There was also a presentation of the external and internal appearance of the terminals. The Head of State drew attention to the fact that the facade of the buildings should be made in the national style, and when decorating and equipping, more attention should be paid to warm colors. He stressed the need to take into account all the amenities for receiving distinguished guests and holding meetings.

As you know, the airport is located next to the Yangi Uzbekistan Park and the Olympic Town. Instructions are given on the landscaping of these complexes and the roadside area, planting flowers, and using decorative elements reflecting the culture of our people.
