Compatriots celebrated Uzbekistan's Independence Day in China

At the Embassy of our country in Beijing, the 33rd anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence was widely celebrated among compatriots under the slogan "If we are united, we are one nation, if we unite, we are the Motherland!".

The participants of the event discussed the large-scale reforms being implemented in our country, the attention paid to compatriots abroad, and measures to comprehensively support young people. In particular, they spoke about the high results achieved by the youth of the New Uzbekistan at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Special attention was paid to an important political event in the life of our country and people - the elections to parliament and local councils of People's Deputies, which will be held on October 27.

A festive table was set for the guests, Uzbek songs were played, and sports competitions were organized.

In an interview with the "Dunyo" news agency, the compatriots congratulated everyone on this significant day and shared their wishes.

- Today we gathered for an event dedicated to the Independence Day of Uzbekistan, which is taking place in Beijing. Here I met many compatriots and got to know them. We discussed important events and big changes taking place in our country.

During the event, sports competitions were organized, we enjoyed national songs and our favorite cuisine. The festive event was held in high spirits.

We try to raise the name of our country high at the events held at our university. We tell our foreign friends about the culture and traditions of our country. Congratulations to all compatriots on this blessed day and wish everyone happiness and prosperity!

- First of all, I sincerely congratulate all our compatriots on the 33rd anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence. This date is of great importance in the history of our people.
