The issues of improvement of mahallas are considered

On June 25, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation of proposals for the improvement of mahallas.

In our country, all programs are implemented at the mahalla level. This system is given great powers and opportunities. Therefore, the landscaping and furnishings in the mahallas must meet the requirements.

Currently, there are about 10 thousand mahallas in the country. Of these, almost 3,000 consist of apartment buildings serviced by 821 management service companies. In more than 6,400 mahallas, where private houses are located, landscaping and landscaping are mainly carried out through khashars.

Therefore, it is proposed to create Mahalla service companies in such places. According to the proposal, these organizations will be engaged in the improvement of mahallas, ensure the cleanliness of streets and ditches, plant and take care of trees. They will also provide services for the repair of utility networks, sorting and waste disposal on a contractual basis.

The service company will be selected from among qualified entrepreneurs based on the decision of the mahalla council. The landscaping works will be carried out by order and under the supervision of the mahalla. To pay for the services of service companies, 20 million soums will be allocated monthly to gatherings of citizens of the mahalla. They will also be able to provide the population with more than 20 different paid social services.

In general, this system will bring prosperity to the mahalla, increase the culture of cleanliness and belonging among people. The employment of craftsmen and temporarily unemployed citizens will be ensured.

During the presentation, it was noted that service companies will initially be established in 208 mahallas as an experiment. It is proposed, taking into account the results of the experiment, to implement this experience in all mahallas.
