The potential of the Jizzakh region of Uzbekistan is presented in Beijing

A presentation of the trade, economic, investment and tourism potential of the region took place at the Embassy of our country in Beijing as part of the delegation headed by the khokim of the Jizzakh region Ergash Saliev.

The event was attended by representatives of more than 100 Chinese companies, trade, economic and tourism associations.

The participants were informed about the ongoing large-scale reforms in Uzbekistan, the economic and investment opportunities of the Jizzakh region. The trade and economic attractiveness of the region, the tourism potential, as well as favorable conditions and advantages created for foreign investors were revealed. An exchange of ideas on the development of new tourist destinations took place.

In his speech, the governor of the region Ergash Saliyev called on Chinese companies to make extensive use of the opportunities created in the free economic and industrial zones in the Jizzakh region of Uzbekistan and jointly implement new investment projects.

It was noted that in recent years, multilateral cooperation between the business circles of the two countries has been expanding, and Chinese companies are very interested in working in our country's market.

Also during the forum, representatives of the region answered questions from Chinese businessmen. Then negotiations were held between business representatives of Uzbekistan and China in the B2B and G2B format.

During the narrow meetings held within the framework of the forum, agreements were reached on the implementation of mutually beneficial projects in various fields. Documents on the establishment of cooperation have been signed.

- Our company has established cooperation with the Jizzakh region. At today's event, we got acquainted with the investment potential of the region. We learned about the favorable conditions created for foreign investors.

During the meetings held within the framework of the event, we identified areas of cooperation. We are ready to help the Jizzakh region establish friendly relations with various regions of China.

We also agreed to hold regular forums dedicated to the investment, trade, economic and tourism potential of the Jizzakh region in China.
