Uzbekistan is represented at the China International Investment Fair

Uzbekistan became an honorary country at the 14th China International Investment Fair, held in Beijing.

The event, organized by the Chinese Association for the Development of Enterprises Abroad (CODA), was attended by about 2,000 guests, including heads of ministries and departments, leading Chinese companies, ambassadors, ministers, government advisers of foreign countries and the media.

The participants of the event were informed about the large-scale reforms carried out in our country in various fields and the measures taken to attract foreign capital to the development of the national economy.

It was noted that favorable conditions have been created in Uzbekistan for foreign investors. There are special and free economic zones for the establishment of production of various types of products and their sale.

During the presentations dedicated to the Syrdarya and Samarkand regions, the participants of the event were able to get acquainted in detail with the investment, economic and tourist opportunities of these regions.

B2B meetings were held between representatives of the business circles of Uzbekistan and China. As a result, mutually beneficial agreements were signed in various fields.

A pavilion of Uzbekistan was organized, where textile, jewelry, handicraft and confectionery products were presented. The visitors were also presented with videos, photographs and special magazines dedicated to our country.

As part of the event, a special musical evening was organized for the guests with the participation of artists from Uzbekistan. The creative group of the Philharmonic Society of the Syrdarya region performed in front of the audience. Performed national dances, songs and music gave the event a special mood.

The participants were also able to enjoy the unique taste of Uzbek national cuisine.

The 14th China Foreign Investment Fair, as a major international event to promote foreign investment and cooperation, adheres to the concept of open, innovative, environmentally friendly and high-quality development. It is a platform for high-level negotiations between the business circles of China and foreign countries.

Established in 2003, the China Association for the Development of Enterprises Abroad (CODA) is a non-profit public organization under the direct supervision of the State Reform and Development Committee.

The main goal of the Association is to promote the implementation of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, play a leading role as a central platform and act as a connecting "bridge" in providing services to Chinese enterprises in investing and developing business abroad to "enter global markets."
