An evening dedicated to the cultural and tourist potential of Uzbekistan was held at the Embassy of our country in Beijing.
The event was attended by representatives of about 130 Chinese travel companies, cultural, tourism and art figures, as well as journalists from more than 30 media outlets and well-known bloggers of local social networks, compatriots and employees of foreign diplomatic missions in Beijing.
The participants were introduced to the essence of the large-scale reforms being implemented in various spheres in our country. Favorable conditions for foreign tourists and the reforms carried out in the field of tourism development in Uzbekistan were noted.
It was emphasized that the ancient cities of our country, such as Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, are becoming popular tourist destinations for Chinese tourists.
In order to introduce the guests to Uzbek cuisine, a traditional festive pilaf was prepared, and the artists performed Uzbek dances and songs.
The event was widely covered in the leading media and social networks in China.
