The cultural heritage and art of Uzbekistan are presented at the headquarters of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank

A festive event dedicated to the culture and art of Uzbekistan was held at the headquarters of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing.

The event was attended by the bank's management and employees, representatives of the diplomatic corps in China, journalists and active compatriots.

In his speech, the President of the bank, Jin Lijun, noted that the visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the bank's headquarters in January and the meetings that took place were an important historical event in the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.

It was emphasized that Uzbekistan is one of the most active countries among the bank's partners, and with its support, many new projects are planned to be implemented in the country.

The participants got acquainted with information about the progress of large-scale reforms implemented in various spheres in Uzbekistan.

Information about the development of the tourism industry in our country, the conditions created for tourists, as well as videos dedicated to the tourist potential of historical cities of Uzbekistan, aroused great interest among the participants.

During the event, the artists of the Khorezm Philharmonic presented a concert program. An exhibition of products of national Uzbek crafts, works of art telling about the culture of Uzbekistan, and a festival of national cuisine were also organized.

During the event, we had the opportunity to get acquainted with the culture of Uzbekistan. Uzbek songs, delicious and unique national dishes, handmade products and elegant traditional costumes were presented to the participants.

The mood of the audience was lifted by the performance of the dance "Clangs", included by UNESCO in the list of the intangible cultural heritage of mankind. We were also very impressed by the exhibition of works of art depicting historical monuments and modern life in the cities of Uzbekistan.
