The Uzbek ensemble performed at the opening of the Central Asia Park in the Chinese city of Xi'an

On May 19, the opening ceremony of the Central Asia Park was held in the administrative center of Shaanxi Province, Xi'an, one of the largest historical cities in China, on the occasion of the anniversary of the first summit of the Central Asia-China format on May 18-19, 2023.

At the invitation of the Chinese side, the ensemble of the Khorezm branch of the State Philharmonic of Uzbekistan performed at this event, presenting its concert program.

The Uzbek traditional Lazgi dance aroused great interest among the participants of the opening ceremony of this park, due to its incendiary and energetic nature.

The leaders of Shaanxi Province and Xi'an City who participated in the event expressed their sincere gratitude for the participation of the Uzbek ensemble in this significant international event dedicated to the anniversary of the first summit of the leaders of Central Asia and China. According to them, the unique Lasga dance, which has a three-thousand-year history, demonstrates the rich centuries-old culture of Uzbekistan and is a unique asset of the Uzbek spiritual heritage.
