A presentation of Uzbekistan's cultural and tourism potential was held in Beijing

A cultural festival was held at the Beijing International University of Business and Economics, in which fellow students presented the tourism potential of Uzbekistan.

The university leadership, headed by Huang Baoyin, Secretary of the university's party committee, took part in the event and made a detailed report on the activities and international cooperation of the university.

The festival was attended by representatives of 45 foreign diplomatic missions in China, more than 30 media representatives, professors and teachers, as well as about 2,000 foreign students from 49 countries.

Representatives of our embassy took part in the cultural festival together with fellow students studying at this university, and widely demonstrated the cultural and tourist potential of Uzbekistan.

Uzbek diplomats familiarized the participants of the event in detail with the reforms implemented in recent years in the field of science, education, culture, sports and tourism in our country, and the positive results achieved in these areas.

During the event, gratitude was expressed to the university management for providing grants and scholarships to citizens of Uzbekistan, and an agreement was reached on further development of ties in the field of education and scientific research.

In conclusion, it was noted that holding such international youth festivals and cultural dialogues serves to understand mutual traditions, cultural heritage and spiritual values for representatives of all participating countries, and contributes to strengthening friendship and people's diplomacy between the peoples of the countries.
