The cultural evening "Uzbekistan and China: dialogue of children" was held at the Embassy of our country in Beijing.
The festive evening was attended by Chinese schoolchildren and their parents, Embassy staff and their family members, as well as media representatives.
The main purpose of the event was to introduce the children of Uzbekistan and China to the culture, art and traditions of the two peoples and to form a friendly dialogue between them.
Chinese children were told about the history and culture of our country, national dishes, great scientists such as Ibn Sina, Al-Khorezmi, Beruni, Ulugbek, and their contribution to world science.
In addition, the participants of the evening were told about the ancient and beautiful cities of our country – Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, showed photos and videos.
It was also noted that today the youth of Uzbekistan occupies high places in international competitions in various sports.
During the event, it was emphasized that in Uzbekistan, interest in learning Chinese among young people is increasing. Chinese schoolchildren performed in front of Uzbek peers, read poetry, performed Chinese national dances and music. In turn, the children of Uzbekistan also performed national songs, dances and poems and pleased their Chinese peers.
Chinese children learned to speak Uzbek words such as "hello", "friend", "good", and a quiz was held with their participation.
At the end of the event, the children were treated to national Uzbek dishes and sweets.
