A presentation dedicated to the cultural and tourism potential of Uzbekistan was held at the Embassy of our country in Beijing.
The presentation was organized as part of the implementation of the Joint Declaration signed by the heads of the two states on May 18, 2023 in Xi'an, the comprehensive program for the development of strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China for 2023-2027 and the agreements reached between the parties during the visit of the head of our state to China on January 23-25.
The event was attended by leading Chinese travel companies, cultural, tourism and art figures, media representatives and well-known bloggers.
The guests were informed that citizens of 91 foreign countries are currently granted the right to enter Uzbekistan without a visa, and citizens of 57 countries have the opportunity to obtain an electronic visa to enter our country through the portal e-visa.gov.uz . It was also noted that citizens from 48 countries can enter Uzbekistan without a visa for up to five days.
It was emphasized that from March 1, 2021, a visa–free regime for up to 10 days is in effect for Chinese citizens in Uzbekistan, and citizens over 55 years old who arrived for the purpose of tourism have the right to stay in our country without a visa for 30 days, citizens under 16 years old - for a period not exceeding 90 days.
The participants were shown the process of cooking the Uzbek national dish - pilaf. A cultural program is also presented. Representatives of China were presented with a special magazine dedicated to the Buddhist monuments of Uzbekistan.

A special magazine dedicated to the possibilities of Buddhism in Uzbekistan, published on the initiative of the Embassy, aroused great interest among the participants today.
