The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan received the delegation of the People's Republic of China

On April 1, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the People's Republic of China headed by member of the State Council, Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong, who arrived in our country to follow up on the agreements of the January summit.

The distinguished guest expressed deep gratitude to the leader of Uzbekistan for the reception and conveyed greetings and best wishes from the President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping.

During the meeting, issues of further expansion of practical cooperation and coordination of joint efforts in the fight against modern challenges and threats to security were discussed.

The Head of our state noted with particular satisfaction the current high level of Uzbek-Chinese friendship relations and all-weather strategic partnership. The potential and opportunities for fruitful interagency cooperation in the law enforcement sphere are emphasized.

The exchange of experience and joint activities in the main areas of public safety, the introduction of modern information technologies and innovative methods of work, the fight against cybercrime, the training of qualified specialists and others are named as priority areas.

There was also an exchange of views on regional cooperation.
