Construction projects in Namangan are considered

At the initiative of the head of our state, in 2017, a school of creativity, a park and a museum of Ishokkhon Ibrat were built in Turakurgan district.

In 2021, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during a meeting with the voters of Namangan, proposed to create a university of foreign languages bearing the name of our ancestor, Jadid. This proposal has also become a reality - the institute began operations in Turakurgan in 2022.

The Institute has a faculty of world languages, 6 departments and 16 areas of study. Currently, 1,523 students are enrolled in two courses. It is planned to increase the number of students in the future.

In this regard, a new university campus is being built on the territory of New Namangan on an area of 5 hectares.

The President got acquainted with the progress of construction work.

At the moment, an educational building with a thousand seats, a gym and a dining room have been built. They are scheduled to be commissioned in August this year. In the next stages, it is planned to build a dormitory for students and another academic building.

The President also got acquainted with the presentation of the stages of construction of the New Namangan.

The construction of the city began two years ago. To date, multi-storey buildings for 2,764 apartments have been built, and 648 more houses are under construction.

The city is designed for 200 thousand inhabitants. There will be kindergartens, schools and other social institutions, an industrial zone. The New Uzbekistan Park will also be created here.

The Head of our state stressed that the city should be convenient, safe and ensure high-quality operation, in short, become the embodiment of the concept of a "smart city". In this regard, instructions are given on the detailed elaboration of the project and strengthening quality control of work.
