Issues of implementation of a large gas chemical project in the Khorezm region were discussed

At the end of the first day of his trip to Khorezm region, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a working meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Energy, Uzkimesanoat JSC and a large foreign investment company.

The issues of joint implementation of the project for the implementation of a large gas chemical project in the Khorezm region with a total investment of more than $ 10 billion were discussed.

It is expected that the future facilities will be able to produce 2.5 million tons of products per year and create 3,000 jobs. The project implementation period is 2024-2028. 

The implementation of the project will give a new impetus to the development of the gas chemical industry and will become one of the industrial flagships of the New Uzbekistan.
