President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, who is in our country on an official visit, visited the mountain resort "Amirsoy".
At the talks held yesterday in Tashkent, the heads of state agreed to continue active exchanges in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, including in the field of sports and tourism. As a result of the summit meetings, among other documents, a Program of cooperation in the field of sports and an Action Plan in the field of tourism for 2024-2025 were signed.
In recent years, Uzbekistan has implemented large-scale projects for the development of sports and tourism infrastructure. Among them is the all-season mountain resort "Amirsoy" in the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region, which has been visited by about 4 million tourists over the past three years.
During their visit to this world-class complex, the heads of state got acquainted with the conditions for athletes and visitors, exchanged views on expanding tourist exchanges between the two countries.
The sincere communication continued on the ski slope, where the leaders went skiing together.
