Proposals in the fields of employment and entrepreneurship were discussed

On January 8, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation of proposals to increase employment and reduce requirements in the field of entrepreneurship.

According to official statistics, the number of unemployed in our country is 1.3 million. Another 2.4 million people will enter the labor market this year.

With this in mind, it is planned to provide employment for 5 million people this year by creating locally sustainable and highly profitable jobs. In particular, there are opportunities to provide employment for 2.5 million people in the service sector, 2.1 million in agriculture, 250 thousand in investment projects and industry, 140 thousand in construction.

In addition, it is planned to involve 2 million people in business through the widespread introduction of new financial instruments, including a new microfinance system.

At the presentation, the responsible persons provided information on the program for creating new jobs and promoting employment for 2024.

The Head of our state approved this program and gave additional instructions on its implementation.

It was noted that 2.4 million people have become self-employed in recent years, and now it is necessary to assist them in expanding their activities, gradually moving to small businesses and finding markets. This will be facilitated by the introduction of the My Business platform and the First Step to Business bank cards.

The need to create infrastructure on lands not included in the economic turnover and support project initiators was emphasized. It was determined that the program "100 thousand dehkan exporters" will be implemented on the basis of the Aggregator system, this year 15 thousand hectares of land will be put up for auction.

The importance of vocational training for people with no work experience, providing tax benefits to enterprises employing citizens from the social register was also noted.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance has been instructed to identify additional reserves and opportunities for creating new jobs.

The presentation also considered proposals to reduce mandatory requirements in the field of entrepreneurship and simplify the licensing procedure.

As you know, this year has been declared the "Year of Youth and Business Support" in our country. It is planned to create even more favorable conditions for doing business.

It should be noted that there are still cases of demanding additional information from entrepreneurs that is already available in the relevant information systems. In this regard, starting this year, 34 types of certificates and reports are canceled. Thanks to this, more than 21 thousand entrepreneurs will be able to save 500 million soums annually.

In general, there is no single list of reports submitted by entrepreneurs. In this regard, the Head of state instructed to introduce a unified reporting system.

Also, in order to reduce the requirements for entrepreneurs, it is indicated that 16 types of licenses and permits should be canceled.

The task is to inform entrepreneurs about innovations in the field, constantly analyze their proposals and continue work on optimizing statistical reporting.
