The leaders of Uzbekistan and Russia discussed the practical implementation of the agreements

On December 26, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin met on the sidelines of the informal CIS summit in St. Petersburg.

Special attention was paid to the practical implementation of the agreements reached following the summit visit to Russia on October 5-7 this year.

The importance of close interdepartmental coordination and practical cooperation in order to maintain the dynamics of trade turnover growth and promote promising cooperation projects, including at the regional level of the two states, was noted.

There was also an exchange of views on the regional agenda.
