The President of Uzbekistan received the delegation of Qatar

On December 15, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the State of Qatar headed by Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Center for the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption of this country Ali Muhsin al-Marri.

At the beginning of the meeting, Chairman Al-Marri conveyed to the Head of our state sincere greetings and best wishes from the Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

The dynamic development of Uzbek-Qatari multifaceted relations was noted with satisfaction. The volume of mutual trade and investments is growing, and major joint projects are being prepared and implemented.

The course of preparations for the upcoming important international event in Uzbekistan – the ceremony of awarding the global award "For Outstanding Achievements in the fight against Corruption", established on the initiative of the Emir of Qatar, was reviewed.

Mutual interest was confirmed in further expanding practical cooperation, exchanging experience and implementing joint educational programs in the field of combating corruption.
