President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the makhallas of Tashkent city on December 12 to familiarize himself with the living conditions of the population, the state of readiness for winter and landscaping work.
First, the heating plant of the Toshkent issiklik Markazi enterprise in the Uchtepa district was visited. During last year's visit of the head of state to this facility, it was in a deplorable state. Being built in 1969, it has never undergone major repairs. Boiler rooms and networks are outdated. Last winter, due to a sharp cold snap, there were interruptions in heat production. Therefore, the President gave instructions on repairing boiler houses and improving the stability of heating networks.
During the current visit, the responsible persons reported on the work done and the full implementation of these instructions. The boiler houses of the complex have a total capacity of 700 Gcal, they provide heat to more than a thousand apartment buildings and about 400 social institutions.
This year, a fuel oil facility and storage facilities have been built, two boilers have been adapted to work in a mixed mode - on gas and fuel oil. As a result, the boiler room and networks operate stably even at low temperatures. In such cases, a backup fuel oil is used. Due to the additional insulation of the pipes, heat loss has decreased.
Here, the head of state had a conversation with the leadership of the city of Tashkent and Uchtepa. It is pointed out that it is necessary to establish the effective operation of the new Mahalla Seven system, to make sure that social issues are resolved on the spot, in accordance with the requests of the population.
The measures taken in preparation for winter should be reflected in people's lives. An urgent task is the prompt solution of emerging problems in heating plants and networks, heat preservation in buildings and premises.
