The President of Uzbekistan noted the importance of further development of investment cooperation with the UAE

As part of the business program of his stay in Dubai, on December 2, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of leading companies of the United Arab Emirates headed by the Minister of Investment, Chief Executive Officer of the ADQ holding Muhammad Hassan al-Suwaidi.

The meeting was also attended by the heads of the leading Emirati companies "TAQA" Jasim Hussein Tabet and "Masdar" Muhammad Jamil al-Ramahi.

Issues of support and promotion of joint projects of trade, economic and investment cooperation were discussed.

The dynamic development of partnership in priority sectors of the economy was noted with satisfaction. 

The locomotive is the growing cooperation in the energy sector. In this regard, an agreement on strategic partnership with Masdar was signed during the visit.

At the end of the meeting, the head of our state presented the Chief Executive Officer of Masdar, Muhammad Jamil al-Ramahi, with a high state award of the Republic of Uzbekistan – the Order of "Dostlik" for his personal contribution to the development of Uzbek-Emirati multifaceted relations.
