The President of Uzbekistan noted the importance of increasing practical cooperation with Kazakhstan

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov, who is in our country to participate in the summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan conveyed to the leader of Uzbekistan the sincere greetings and best wishes of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The Head of our state noted with satisfaction the progressive development of the Uzbek-Kazakh relations of strategic partnership and alliance.

Particular attention is paid to the full-scale implementation of agreements at the highest level, including increasing trade turnover, promoting projects in the field of industrial cooperation and logistics.

In this context, the importance of continuing the effective work of the joint Intergovernmental Commission was noted.
