The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan called for further promotion of regional projects

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, who is in our country on a visit to participate in the ECO summit.

The issues of further strengthening of Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations of friendship, good neighborliness and comprehensive strategic partnership were discussed.

The volumes of mutual trade are growing at a dynamic pace, cooperation projects are being implemented in industry, energy, agriculture, transport and other priority areas. A rich program of cultural and humanitarian exchange is being implemented.

The leaders of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan stressed the importance of practical implementation of the agreements at the highest level.

The Heads of State separately focused on the issues of the early start of the practical implementation of major infrastructure projects in the Central Asian region.
