The President of Uzbekistan received the former Prime Minister of Qatar

On November 7, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the former Prime Minister of the State of Qatar, the founder of a number of large investment and industrial holdings of the country Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani.

The delegation of Qatar arrived in our country in the development of agreements at the highest level.

The issues of implementation of promising investment projects in Uzbekistan were considered.

Among them are the construction of a modern hotel complex in the city of Bukhara, a large logistics center, a shopping and residential complex in the city of Tashkent, the creation of high–speed automobile and railway infrastructure, the modernization of airports, as well as projects in the field of energy, metallurgy, textile industry, animal husbandry, production of building materials and others.

Plans to create a joint fund for financial support of the above-mentioned projects were also discussed.

The projects will be implemented on the basis of a joint roadmap.
