President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of France Emmanuel Macron got acquainted with the exhibition dedicated to the cultural heritage of our country.
The exhibition contains exhibits from 7 museums of our country. The exposition of rare items that give an idea of the ancient history and rich culture of our people is built in the form of a chronological tour.
With the development of transcontinental ties, the territory of our country has become a center of trade, science, education, culture and architecture. Many cultures have left their imprint on ancient monuments – Turkic, Persian, Greco-Bactrian, Arabic, Indian, Chinese and other peoples. The exhibition emphasizes the elegance, cultural and historical significance of the exhibits, will cause a desire to travel around our country.
The exposition consists of 3 sections. The first section is devoted to the period of ancient states, the spread of cultures along the Silk Road, the Kushan Empire, shows figurines, gold objects and coins. It is noteworthy that some of them were found during a joint expedition of Uzbek and French scientists.
The second part introduces the theme of the heyday of art and culture, roads and caravans in antiquity and the Middle Ages.
The third section is devoted to the spread of Islam, the development of culture and science in Central Asia during the Renaissance and the Temurids. Here visitors can get acquainted with the manuscripts of such great scholars as Muhammad Musa Al-Khorazmi, Abu Ali ibn Sino, Abu Rayhan Beruni, Imam Bukhari, Mirzo Ulugbek and Alisher Navoi. This section is organized around the figure of the great ruler Amir Temur and presents decorative objects of that period, as well as a letter from the King of France to Sahibkiran.
