President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Chairman and CEO of EDF Luc Remon within the framework of the Uzbek-French business forum held in Samarkand.

EDF is the world's largest operator of nuclear power plants with assets of 427 billion euros. Works in 30 countries around the world. Engaged in the production, transmission and distribution of electricity.

During the conversation, the President of our country supported the company's participation in the construction of combined-cycle power plants in Syrdarya and Surkhandarya, noted the importance of accelerating the implementation of projects.
