Investment and tourism potential of Uzbekistan presented in Beijing



A round table dedicated to the economic, investment and tourism potential of Uzbekistan has been organized at the Embassy of our country in Beijing.

The event was attended by the heads of over 20 large Chinese companies and organizations working in the fields of trade, transport, logistics, electronics, manufacturing, energy, agriculture, services and tourism.

The participants of the round table were informed about the business environment, the opportunities created for foreign investors, the rich historical and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, the measures being implemented in the field of tourism, including the simplification of visa procedures.

The participants highly appreciated the facilities and benefits created for business entities and foreign investors in our country, the efforts to support them.

Hua Han, President of Beijing Belt & Road Cooperative Community, noted that China and Uzbekistan have established effective cooperation in all areas. In particular, within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, the two countries continue to develop relations in industry, energy, agriculture, tourism, infrastructure projects, transport and logistics.

General Director "E-to-China.com (ETCN)" Hu Tsung stated that the role and influence of Uzbekistan in the economic development of the region is increasing, and the rapid implementation of the Digital Silk Road initiative will change the economies of the states of the region. He stressed that his company is ready to cooperate with Uzbek partners in this area.

According to Yang Binbin, General Director of the Department of International Relations of Optima Integration Group, fruits and vegetables grown in Uzbekistan have become a real brand – a trademark with high authority, and these products have high competitiveness. According to him, the Chinese company provides services in the field of agricultural production and expresses a desire to import vegetables and fruits grown in Uzbekistan to the Chinese market in the future.
