French President to pay official visit to Uzbekistan

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on November 1-2, the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron will pay an official visit to our country.

In accordance with the program of the visit, high-level talks will be held in the city of Samarkand, during which issues of further development of Uzbek-French multifaceted relations will be considered.

The focus will be on expanding practical cooperation in trade, economic, innovation, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The leaders of Uzbekistan and France will also take part in a joint business forum with the participation of leading companies and banking and financial institutions of the two countries.

Following the summit, it is planned to adopt a number of intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements, as well as a package of trade and investment agreements.
