The President visited a school in Karshi district

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev continues to visit facilities not provided for in the program of the trip. School No. 12 in the center of the Karshi district, the city of Beshkent, was also visited unscheduled.

Currently, 1.4 thousand boys and girls study here. They are taught by more than a hundred teachers. Last year, the school underwent major repairs. The training of one profession and two foreign languages has been established. There are circles of computer literacy, sewing, carpentry and others.

The Head of State went into the classrooms, talked with teachers and students. I asked about the conditions at school, the quality of textbooks.

These days, preparations for the winter season and tree planting activities are actively continuing throughout the country. The President got acquainted with this work using the example of this school. Responsible persons were given instructions regarding the heat supply of social facilities, the use of energy-saving technologies. The necessity of updating the standards of school construction was noted, providing for all the criteria related to infrastructure content, functionality and energy efficiency.

Special attention was paid to the landscaping of the territories around the schools within the framework of the Yashil Makon project.

– School is also a center of culture. Teachers are the ones who set an example in everything. If the school is landscaped, seasonal flowers are planted, it will be both an education and an image for young people," the head of state said.
