President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the heating plant No. 3 of the Toshkent Issyklik Markazi enterprise in Shaikhantakhur district.
This complex was built in 1972. The 5 boiler houses operating here produce 400 Gcal of heat and provide them with 491 apartment buildings, more than 150 social institutions.
Last winter, as a result of a sharp cold snap, the pressure of natural gas supply to the heating plant decreased, which negatively affected the heat supply to consumers. In this regard, the possibility of generating heat from alternative fuels has been created this year. In particular, a fuel oil farm has been built, two boilers are adapted to hybrid operation – on gas and fuel oil. All boiler rooms have been repaired. To ensure normal gas pressure, a separate gas pipeline with a length of 4.6 kilometers has been connected to the heating plant.
As a result of the work done, the possibility of uninterrupted heat supply to consumers in the autumn-winter season has been created. In particular, heating networks can work stably at temperatures up to 30 degrees cold. Reserves of fuel oil will be involved in this process. Pipe insulation has been reinforced, which has reduced heat loss. As a result, the population will be supplied with thermal energy with a temperature of at least 65 degrees.
The heating plant No. 5 has also been modernized in a similar way.
- It should be recognized that for many years this system has not been given due attention. Thermal enterprises worked on an old resource, using outdated methods. And the volume of heat produced did not justify the costs. It was not possible either to satisfy people or to ensure the viability of enterprises. Taking into account last year's tests and using the existing capabilities, we are modernizing the heat supply. Now it is necessary to take measures to preserve and save heat," Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
