Negotiations between the delegations of Uzbekistan and Russia took place in an expanded format

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin continued negotiations in an expanded format with the participation of members of official delegations after a meeting in a narrow format.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev, expressing deep gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality, stressed the unprecedented breakthrough in the development of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance between the countries.

The Head of our state noted with great satisfaction the consistent expansion and significant progress in all areas of Uzbek-Russian relations.

The results of purposeful joint activities in the trade, economic and investment spheres were highly appreciated, their qualitative change was emphasized.

A permanent joint group has been established to expand industrial cooperation, primarily in the fields of mechanical engineering, metallurgy, energy, processing, textile, food industry and other industries.

During the negotiations, a number of other agreements were reached aimed at strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.
