President of Uzbekistan arrives in Moscow

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who is making an official visit to the Russian Federation, arrived in Moscow from Kazan.

At the Vnukovo-2 airport in the capital, the head of our state was met by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov and other officials.

The state flags of Uzbekistan and Russia were raised in honor of the distinguished guest, and an honor guard was formed. A solemn welcoming ceremony took place.

In accordance with the program of stay, on October 6, the leaders of the two countries will hold talks in narrow and expanded formats. Issues of further deepening of Uzbek-Russian relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance will be discussed.

It is planned to consider the state and prospects of expanding comprehensive cooperation in political, trade and economic, investment, transport and communication, cultural and humanitarian spheres and other priority areas. There will be an exchange of views on topical issues of the regional and international agenda.

The head of Uzbekistan will also hold talks with the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
