The President of Uzbekistan received the chairman of the Korean company "SK Group"

On October 4, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the leading Korean company "SK Group" headed by its Chairman, Head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Korea Che Tae Won.

The Head of our state noted with particular satisfaction the progressive development of Uzbek-Korean relations of a special strategic partnership, primarily in the trade and economic sphere.

At the meeting, issues of expanding practical cooperation with the SK Group company on the implementation of high-tech projects, in particular the organization of copper foil production in the Tashkent region, were discussed.

Special attention is paid to promising projects for deep processing of raw materials and the production of finished products with high added value. Plans to train engineering personnel and conduct scientific research in the semiconductor industry were supported.

The importance of the active participation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Korea in attracting direct investments of leading Korean companies to the implementation of joint cooperation projects in priority sectors was emphasized.
