The leaders of Uzbekistan and the United States discussed topical issues of the bilateral agenda

On September 19, within the framework of the events of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with President of the United States of America Joseph Biden.

Topical issues of the bilateral agenda and regional cooperation were discussed. The US President reaffirmed his strong support for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the course of irreversible reforms in the New Uzbekistan.

Special attention was paid to the promotion of practical cooperation projects with leading American companies and banks.

The results of the bilateral meetings with the business community and the business forum held on the eve of the visit of the head of our state to the United States were noted with satisfaction.

Special attention is paid to the continuation of constructive interaction in the field of human rights, gender equality and other areas in the field of human dimension.
