On September 18, as part of the program of a working visit to the United States, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Rob Walton, President and Chief Executive Officer of GE HealthCare in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
During the meeting, the corporation's plans for the implementation of projects in our country were discussed.
The global industrial giant General Electric, within the framework of a strategic partnership, plans to expand investment and technological cooperation with enterprises of Uzbekistan, including supplies and localization projects of modern high-tech equipment.
Rob Walton, President of GE HealthCare, noted that the production of cardiographs, screening programs and cardio information systems will be launched in the field of healthcare. In addition, the investor intends to participate in the creation of the National Archive of Medical Data in Uzbekistan.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on the adoption of a roadmap for the implementation of joint projects.
GE HealthCare, founded in 1994 as part of General Electric, is an American multinational medical technology company headquartered in Chicago. The corporation's assets amount to almost $28 billion.
